At Foster Care Transfer Agent, we agree with the government that every child should have access to a computer. However in our experience this is not always the case.
Computers and access to the internet are fundamental to a child’s education. Computers and the web are now a part of everyday life for children and young people.
After all, it is their technology, whether it is used in helping with their homework, downloading their favourite songs or keeping in touch with their friends, a computer is now an essential tool.
Computers and the internet are not without dangers too, so at FCTA we also support safe internet surfing and can help foster carers monitor what children and young people are doing while on the web.
